Programs

During this course participants will attend 3, 3 hour sessions. You will design, cut, and finish a custom steel-plate sign. The design portion will utilize hand-drawn designs scanned to the computer, the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD), or a combination of both. You will utilize the CNC plasma cutting table to cut the sign, as well as a number of different finishing techniques.
Course fee includes the steel materials to make a sign up to approximately 24" x 30". If you wish to make a larger sign, you will be responsible for the purchase of larger material, which can be coordinated with the instructor. Also included are all consumables needed to produce and finish the sign (plasma cutter tips, grinding wheels, sanding discs, etc.) as well as your choice of either a clear satin or high gloss protective finish.

There will be a flex-2 hour sessions determined by the class for make-up or additional time needed.
