Programs

Summer Park offers a safe, fun environment where park staff lead a variety of activities including: sports, games, swimming, arts & crafts, drama, field trips and good ol’ fashioned summer fun! Give your kiddos a summer full of exploration, excitement, and the opportunity to create lasting memories and friendships! Children may attend as often as they would like, but they will not want to miss one day of great outdoor fun in the sun!

RESIDENT RATE: The resident rate for the Summer Park program is available for City of Port Washington residents only.

SUMMER PARK LOCATION - Kolbach Park- Jefferson St and Whitefish Rd


FIELD TRIPS:
We have separate registration open for Summer Park field trips. Parents will be sent links to these registrations where you will be able to register your child for the field trips that they would like to attend, fill out waivers, etc. Field trip fees are not included in the registration fee. Fees will be assessed when registering for the trips.

PIRATES' HOLLOW - POOL DAYS: Dates TBD. Pool admission fees are included in the program registration fee.

WEATHER DELAYS & CANCELLATIONS: The Parks and Recreation Department has the sole discretion to cancel the day’s activities due to inclement weather. Parents should have alternate arrangements in place in the event of emergency closing.

COMMUNICATION: Text alerts & emails will be sent out on a regular basis to notify you of important events, schedules, calendars, weather cancelations, etc.

T-SHIRT: Each child will receive a t-shirt sponsored by Port State Bank

REQUIRED REGISTRATION FORMS DUE BY JUNE 10.
Without REQUIRED REGISTRATION FORMS your child is not officially registered and may not participate in playground activities.

These forms are extremely important and are required for EACH PARTICIPANT. These forms will be included as part of your online registration process. Otherwise hardcopies can be printed from are available at the Parks and Rec office.
