Friends of Port Washington Parks & Rec, Inc.

Who We Are:  The Friends of Port Washington Parks and Rec is a 501(c) (3) non-profit established in 2014 for the purpose of helping to preserve and enrich the quality of life in Port Washington through the enhancement of city parks, trails and recreation programs. This foundation is working to build funds through the annual City of Seven Hills Duathlon, Upper Lake Park Beer Garden and generous donations from area businesses, other non-profit organizations and residents.    The Park Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors with opportunities to serve on Development and fund-raising committees.

How You Can Be Involved: Friends of Port Washington Parks and Rec offers opportunities for sponsors and volunteers to become involved with events, fund-raising, awareness and outreach. As you consider giving back to your community, we have several opportunities for you and your family to give of your time, resources and energy to help this organization grow and increase its effectiveness in our City. 

Become a Member:  Becoming a member of the Friends of Port Washington Parks and Rec is one way to become involved in helping improve our Park systems. You will receive an annual newsletter letting you know how your donations have helped improve the daily lives of residents in our community.  There are different tax deductible membership levels:

Tax Deductible Membership Levels 
 Basic  $25 (annually)
 Associate   $100 (annually)
 Partner  $500 (every 2 years)
 Sustaining  $5000 (one-time)
